Here is the narrated version of the presentation by Mr Webbe for the parent E-Safety and Google Classroom meeting (Wednesday 5th October). If there are any queries about Google Classroom, please contact your child's class teacher via the office.
Hello Year 2, In Year 5 this year, we have made you a video to help you ahead of starting in September. Please watch to familiarise yourself with the school and our wonderful grounds. Have a fantastic summer, Your Year 6 buddies.
We hope that this short video helps parents to understand how we assess progress and attainment at North Baddesley Junior School. Please contact your child's class teacher via the school office if you have any concerns or worries about your child's learning and progress. Thank you for taking the time to watch the video and we hope that it gives you a clearer insight into our internal tracking system.
We held our annual Children In Need Talent Show. The auditions this year were the best that we have ever had and the Talent at North Baddesley is amazing. The 12 finalists performed live to help raise money for Children In Need. Thank you to our judges and presenters who held the show together. A huge well done to you all. We raised £340 for Children in Need!
Mrs Murphy and Mrs TD organised another fantastic year of REF activities which were enjoyed by all. We learnt a lot about our oceans and how we can protect them. Help us to reduce the plastic that ends up in our beautiful oceans! Thank you Mrs Murphy - you inspire us all to be better at protecting our wonderful planet!

It was not the start to the New Year that we were expecting but you have all risen to the challenges and we would like to say a huge well done to all of you learning from home. Your families have supported you through the difficult times and we have put together some of the highlights. You have shown all elements of our learning values and we couldn't be more proud of you all. We are so pleased that you will all be back in the classroom very soon. We hope you enjoy watching.
Well done to everybody who has entered the Dance Competition :) We have started to put together a video of all of the entries so far. We would love to add some more to the video. If you want to be added to the video then let your class teacher know and upload it to your class Dojo portfolio or your Google classroom account. If not, sit back and enjoy the video! Have a restful half term and take care. Miss Wootten :)
Mr Webbe has created a video explaining class dojo. It is about 14 minutes long. It contains helpful hints and tips on how to log in, what the homework will look like and also features of the portfolio. Should we ever go into a lockdown scenario, class dojo will be the primary platform for setting work. In the meantime, this will be where the children's homework for each week will be publish. If there are any questions, please send in to the YEAR 3 and YEAR 4 shared inboxes that are mentioned on the video.
